Java Developer

Red Pill Studio is looking for a specialist with a strong command of Java. Here you will develop a game server for a highly loaded multiplayer game and blockchain integration services to support and use cryptocurrencies and NFTs in the game.

What're your skills:

Strong knowledge of Java 8 – Core, Collections, Multithreading
Experience with relational databases (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
Professional commercial development experience of at least 2 years
Development of unit tests on JUnit
Experience with Apache Maven/ sbt / gradle
Experience with the Git version control system
Ability to perform a quality code review
Decomposition of tasks into development
Development of distributed services.

A big plus is:

Experience with the Akka framework, understanding of actors and the actor design model
Experience or desire to learn Scala (tests)
Experience in Linux
Experience with Docker
Experience in gamedev or blockchain
