Java Developer

Red Pill Studio is looking for a specialist with a strong command of Java. Here you will develop a game server for a highly loaded multiplayer game and blockchain integration services to support and use cryptocurrencies and NFTs in the game.

What're your skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java 8 – Core, Collections, Multithreading
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle DB, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions
• Professional commercial development experience of at least 2 years
• Development of unit tests on JUnit
• Experience with Apache Maven/ sbt / gradle
• Experience with the Git version control system
• Ability to perform a quality code review
• Decomposition of tasks into development
• Development of distributed services.

A big plus is:

• Experience with the Akka framework, understanding of actors and the actor design model
• Experience or desire to learn Scala (tests)
• Experience in Linux
• Experience with Docker
• Experience in gamedev or blockchain
